Corporate website privacy policy.
This policy covers The Regent Collection corporate website and the venture enquiry system. Regent Mile publishes separate service-specific privacy information.
Who is responsible for your information
THE REGENT COLLECTION LTD. (company no. 14693979), 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London, W1T 6EB, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy enquiries can be sent to enquiries@regentcompany.co.uk.
Information we collect
When you submit a venture enquiry we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, the type and stage of your opportunity, the services requested, budget range, timeframe and the information you choose to include in your enquiry. We also process limited technical information needed for security and anti-spam controls. Raw source IP addresses are not stored in the venture enquiry record; a one-way security fingerprint may be used for rate limiting.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to review and respond to requests, assess potential commercial engagements, keep appropriate business records, protect the website from abuse and manage follow-up. Depending on the circumstances, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, or on another lawful basis available under applicable data-protection law.
Who can access it
Venture enquiry records are stored in restricted systems and are intended to be available only to authorised Regent administrators and service providers that support the relevant website, database, communications or security functions. We do not publish customer enquiry details.
Email and service providers
Where transactional email delivery is enabled, contact information and the content needed to send a notification or confirmation may be processed by the configured email provider. Other infrastructure providers may process data on our behalf where required to host or secure the service.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, related business records, dispute handling, legal obligations and security. Retention periods may differ depending on whether an enquiry becomes a client or commercial relationship.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Confidential information
We handle enquiry information privately, but submitting the website form does not itself create a non-disclosure agreement. If an opportunity contains trade secrets or other information that should only be disclosed under a formal NDA, contact us first and request that an NDA is considered before sending that material.
Updates
This policy may be updated when our services, systems or legal obligations change. The version published on this page is the current website version.
